Car Dealership Case Study
September 15, 2025
In today's world, companies of all sizes are looking for cost-effective ways to improve the healthcare benefits for owners and valuable employees who contribute to the success and sustainability of their companies. Learn how ExecSelect™ can support you in accomplishing this goal.
THE CHALLENGE
A privately held car dealership with 65 employees found it cost prohibitive to offer a high level of healthcare coverage to all its full-time employees. This left the four owners with a less than desirable medical plan plan and limited dental and vision coverages. All had out-of-pocket expenses to varying amounts and all were interested in a richer benefit package. Below is their out-of-pocket medical spend and their ExecSelect™ case study.

THE SOLUTION
They added ExecSelect for the four owners and their dependents. This covered most out-of-pocket expenses associated with their underlying medical plan, but also affords them first dollar coverage for many other types of medical expenses including dental, orthodontia, hearing aids, speech therapy, infertility treatment, vision care, and alcohol and/or drug abuse treatment.

This case example is based on a company covering four employees and their dependents that have a total of $30K in out-of-pocket medical expenses in a year. We use a 40% tax rate that includes both corporate payroll tax liabilities and individual income tax. By offering ExecSelect, an estimated savings of $13,500 is realized.
Whether you are simply looking for a way to increase you own benefits, or a unique way to retain and reward your key people, ExecSelect can help. To schedule a 15 minute call, click below.
